Danny Federici, keyboard player with Bruce Springsteen’s E-Street band has died, aged 58.
I last time I saw the band on tour was in Edmonton in 2003, and as usual they were about the best live band on the planet.
Federici was a large part of the sound of the E-Street Band, even if he was overshadowed on stage by some of the larger personalities (ahem, Clarence). I’m sure the Boss and his fellow travelers will miss him greatly.
