How toxic is the idea of a cap and trade bill in the US?

“I’ll sue the EPA and take dead aim at the cap and trade bill… *boom*… because it’s bad for West Virginia”

The gun-toting anti-science extremist in the video is Senate candidate Joe Manchin, who must be one of the global warming denying Republicans the greens love to hate. Except that Joe Manchin is a Democrat. You can’t tell from the ad, because he’s playing hide the party affiliation.

Face it hippies, global warming legislation is done in America. If Obama can’t get it done, the rest of the Western governments paying attention will follow. Except in Britain, where they seem hell bent on wrecking the economy in the name of green.
