Watching CNN’s Wolf Blitzer and Jack Cafferty is similar to poking spikes into my eyes for fun. It’s painful and nice when it stops.
Last night was no exception, but the CNN ‘newsmen’ were asking questions about the competence of whoever vetted Sarah Palin for John McCain’s campaign.
Which got me thinking, did anyone from the Democrats ever vet Barack Obama? Let’s see:
He used cocaine.
He smoked pot.
He drank.
He’s friends with William Ayers, a terrorist.
His pastor of 20 years hates America.
He’s friends with Tony Rzeko, a convicted Chicago businessman.
If a DUI from 22 years ago of the Republican VP nominee’s husband is an issue, surely the pattern of illegal and disturbing behavior of the Democrat’s Presidential nominee should also be an issue. Let’s tune into CNN and see.

UPDATE: Can anyone find video of any reporter from CNN grilling Obama or an Obama campaign staffer this hard? I don’t believe it’s ever happened, which is why the McCain people are so upset, baby.
CNN and the 99% of the rest of the media hate her, they have wet dreams about Obama.
First she’s, well, a woman. How dare the Republicans nominate a woman? That is a Democrat right and priviledge.
Second, she’s intelligent and articulate. Gotta hate that.
Third, she stands up for, and does not apologize for, what she believes in. She comes right out and tells you what she thinks. We can’t have that in a politician.
Fourht, she might just have the grace and spirit to pound Obama and Biden into dust. The media have already decided that Obama is the next president, Palin is a spoiler and must be destroyed.
They are working overtime trying to get the dirt on Palin, even if they have dig deep and make it up.
CNN seems to have forgotten the role of the journalist. Journalists aren’t the news, they report the news.
The only balanced reporting I have heard is on POTUS, the XM Satellite radio station devoted to the election. They seem to be doing a good job of staying away from the muck raking diatribe that the rest of the media seems to thrive on. They are showing little favoritism to either party.
Blitzer is doing his best to appear unbiased, its not working. Cafferty is one of the most biased and bitter reporters that I have ever seen.
As a Canadian, I can watch all this crap from a distance. Those of you who must live in it daily have my profound sympathy. We too are getting set for a fall federal election and our media is just as left leaning as the US gang, so my relative comfort is about to be dashed.
