Forgive the post title, I couldn’t help myself.
It turns out that aging rocker Sting has managed to donate only 41% of money raised by his foundation for the saving of rain forests to any actual activity to save said jungles.
According to the story, a well run charity would donate 75% of donations. So, perhaps this is simply a well run scam rather than a poorly run charity. Or it could be a new form of ‘tantric’ charity in that it doesn’t involve much movement, and Sting likes his tantric.
I suppose that since it was promoted as a Sting concert there was at least truth in advertising for the event.
