The death of climate legislation in the US has green activists wondering what happened to the big green dream.
So much so that some are advocating a back to basics direction:
In the coming year, environmentalists and their friends in Congress are likely to focus on smaller, more bang-for-your-buck environmental bad guys: discrete pollutants produced by only one sector or industry that have an immediate impact on human health — and are more accessible in the minds of voters.
If environmentalists got back to campaigning for things that would actually help human health without requiring the dismantling of the economy and modern lifestyle, we could all relax a little.
And Sundays are for relaxing, so go do some.
